Sweetwater Lavender farm

We named our 10 acre slice of heaven "Sweetwater" after the freshest water on the planet that we are sandwiched in between. Just a mile from the sparkling water of Little Traverse Bay on one side and just a couple miles from Walloon Lake the other way, we firmly believe there is no better place to unwind than Northern Michigan.

We grow a couple thousand lavender plants, have an antique apple orchard, walking trails, a tiny house, and a really cool old barn. The winter's here are tough, which makes a summer golden hour spent outside in the lavender that much more special.

We cannot wait for you to see this place.

When can I see the lavender?

Lavender typically blooms for us July - August with "purple haze" beginning in late June. We are open for private and special events only. We post all our events under our events tab. If you can't make it to an event, be sure to visit the shed to grab a bundle!

Fun Farm Fact #1

We found an old outhouse in our backyard the first spring we moved here. We moved it to the side of the road, painted it white, and opened up the doors.

You can find fresh lavender bundles and flower arrangements in there during July & August each year.

Just look for the "flowers" sign!
