on the 'backyard elopement' styled shoot.

This week I was lucky enough to collaborate with Catherine Holden, of Holden Photo on a styled shoot downstate. We are working with Equally Wed to have something for their website soon & wanted to put together a casual, backyard elopement.

Two of my best friends Josh & Armand, who are madly in love, modeled for us. The story here was simple; a quiet backyard affair complete with personal touches like plates from mom's cupboard, Aunt Laurie's cookies for dessert, the most darling sweetheart table, a puppy in a flower collar and peonies cut from the garden that morning.

For floral I took a chance on sherbet orange and I am so happy I did. The arrangements and work feature seeded eucalyptus (my spirit greenery), peonies, orange spray roses, coffee break roses, some totally weird, whisky fern my wholesaler brought me, snapdragon and carnations. I absolutely loved working on this project.

The images are stunning and I'm having such a hard time whittling it down to this handful to show you. Love is love y'all. And this right here is some real love.
